The 2008 TCU football season is upon us, yet again. But more than just the next of its 112–year succession, this special year marks the 70th Anniversary of TCU’s 1938 national championship and quarterback Davey O’Brien winning the elite Heisman Trophy. This season also holds tremendous promise and anticipation of making history itself with fourteen returning starters including three–preseason All–Americans, center Blake Schlueter, linebacker Jason Phillips and safety Stephen Hodge.
